Print file setup
How to send artwork that's ready for production.
Accepted file types
- Illustrator: .ai, .pdf, .eps
- Photoshop: .psd, .tif
- .jpg
Resolution
We recommend no lower than 300 dpi.
Before saving
- Convert all text to outlines, or package fonts in a zipped folder
- Embed raster images
- Build as close to actual size as possible, or at 1/2 or 1/4 scale
- Extended bleed and crop marks aren't necessary
- Vector art can be CMYK and raster art RGB, if a file has both, send a PDF
Colour
For best colour accuracy, embed Pantone colours in vector artwork or provide a sample to match.
Set-up fees
If usable artwork isn't supplied, improperly saved files, unsupported extensions, poor resolution, very large or corrupted files, file set-up fees may apply.
