Projects

How do I start a project?: Use the project inquiry, tell us the wall, event or build, the site and your dates. You can review and copy the brief before sending it.
Do you have package prices?: No. Every project is scoped on its own. For a rough range first, try the Mural Planner.
Can you just do one part of a job?: Yes, paint and materials, a primed wall, a lift and assistants, a build or a print run. See services.
Will a clear coat or anti-graffiti coat make a mural permanent?: No coating makes a wall fade-proof or graffiti-proof. We look at the surface and the paint used before recommending a protective coat.

What does MSC do for festivals?: Festival planning, artist logistics, materials, site prep, access coordination and on-site production, the role differs by festival. See festival production.
Do you make the artwork?: The artists do. We supply, produce and support.

Where and when is the shop open?: 2324 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702. Thursday–Monday, 12–8 PM; closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Check Instagram for holiday hours.
Can I check stock online?: Stock is not shown online. The shop is for browsing; paint and supplies are sold in person at the shop only. Call (512) 387-1640 before you come in for something specific.

How do I order print?: Printing is handled on MSC Prints. MSC Prints is in early access and may ask for an unlock code. Visit MSC Prints or email print@muralsupply.co, and MSC will follow up.
What files should I send?: Vector or high-resolution artwork. The file setup guide covers formats.
What are the minimums and prices?: For current minimums and prices, see MSC Prints or email print@muralsupply.co. MSC confirms the details per job.

What is the Mural Planner?: One three-step workspace: size the wall and plan paint, get a preliminary project range, then build a client quote PDF. Only wall size carries between steps. Open it.
Is my quote PDF sent anywhere?: No. Your personal PDF is made on your device and is never uploaded. If you separately choose “Send to MSC” and tick consent, only the contact, project and support details you entered are sent to us, not the PDF.
Is there a color matching tool?: Yes, Mural Color Lab compares a color or photo with approximate paint references on your device.
