Looking Up is one of the annual festivals MSC helped kick off, alongside Beaumont. We co-produced it, handling materials and artist logistics.
MSC supplied the paint, primed the walls and clear-coated the finished murals. The murals belong to their artists.
The 2021 edition included an artist talk and Drew Merritt's thelocactus, painted from a lift; Lauren YS painted the East Austin Hotel wall in 2022. The group photo on the studio steps comes from co-founder Fabian Rey's festival portfolio; its exact edition and photographer aren't established.
