On September 14, 2024, MSC opened its new retail shop and production space at 2324 Studios & Gallery on E Cesar Chavez St with an evening of live painting, live music and open studios.
The night included the unveiling of a mosaic mural by Carmen Rangel, and live painting by Candy Kuo, Fish, Paws, Pono, Sam Soper, Taylord and more.
Ahead of the party, a postcard-style Greetings from Mural Supply Co. wall went up inside the shop, with the Texas Capitol dome reimagined as a spray can.
Outside, artists including Dogslobber, Taylord, Wade Indeed and Pono each painted their own freestanding wall.
Sam Soper, one of the night's live painters, published his own video of his live painting at the opening.
